CIRCULAR ON ACCEPTING Rs.1000/- & Rs.500/- NOTES

As per the Government Notification Currencies of denominations Rs.1000/- and Rs.500/- have been demonetized with effect from midnight of 8^th November 2016. 

 

Arising out of the above, all the operating offices are instructed not to accept any collection by way of Rs.1000/- or Rs.500/- notes with effect from today (9^th November 2016) till further instructions. 

 

Collections made upto 8^th November 2016 by the agents, should be deposited in their respective controlling offices without fail today (9th November 2016), with relevant supporting documents.  These collections must be deposited by the operating offices in their collection bank account by tomorrow (10th November 2016).

 

The Company will not hold any responsibility for collection of demonetized currencies by agents after this notification.
